Ferguson and Reid to Headline Clash at the Kilt 2

Elgin, Illinois (IL) -- This Friday night presents the next opportunity for our surging fight team to showcase why it is arguably the top fight team in the region as CutThroat MMA presents Clash at the Kilt 2 at the Tilted Kilt's Highland Music Lounge in Elgin, Illinois.

In the main event, Sam Ferguson looks to secure the Middleweight CutThroat MMA Championship belt by facing off against David Booth.  Booth is coming off a huge underdog win which earned him the current CutThroat Light heavyweight Championship belt.  He fought this fight as an undersized fighter against a reigning champion and is now moving down to a more natural weight.  Booth will present a good test for Sam Ferguson who himself is coming off an underdog win at NAGA against UFC veteran Brock Larson.

In the co-main event, Carlson Gracie Muay Thai Team's Mike Reid will find action against Quinton O'Brien.  Mike Reid's ferocious reputation has left matchmakers hard pressed to find competitive opponents in the area as many are declining fights against the young up and comer.  Quinton O'Brien's reputation has also found the same in the St. Louis region and the the two are now scheduled to collide on Friday in a viscous Chicago vs St. Louis Muay Thai showdown to prove who is the top prospect in the region.

In addition to the marquee match-ups, Carlson Gracie Team MMA will also showcase the skills of four other fighters: Matt Shapiro, Dorothy Shultz, Axel Mendez and Daniel McDonald.
