CGT is Primed for Babes & Brawls XI

Ford Heights, Illinois (IL) -- Babes & Brawls XI is only one day away! It is going to be another exciting night for Carlson Gracie Team MMA as there will be four fighters on CutThroat MMA's card. Fighting Saturday will be Craig Fruth, Jorge Gonzalez, Jonathan Rivera and Mike Reid. This will be an exciting night of fights with the MMA debut of one of the best young fighters around.
Craig "the Truth" Fruth will be heading into the Babes & Brawls cage with a 6-0 MMA record. Now, what could Craig have in common with one of the UFC's legends Rich Franklin? Like Franklin when he first started his MMA career, Craig is teacher, or at least working towards becoming a teacher. He just finished his student teaching last week and is now focused on Saturday night's Babes & Brawls XI. He will be putting his undefeated record up against Team Vidonic's Tyson Castro.
Jorge Gonzalez will be returning to the Babes & Brawls cage as one of the more experienced fighters. Jorge will be bringing his 23 fight experience against Team Quest's Ruben Covarrubias. Covarrubias has a 2-0 fight record, so this will be a battle of experience vs. inexperience.
Like the previous two CGT fighters, Jon Rivera is coming out of Carlson Gracie Team - Merrillville. Jon will be looking to even up his MMA record (2-3) on Saturday night. His opponent will be Mike Manning, who fought and won the opening fight of the last Babes & Brawls back in February.
The night's headliner will be Babes & Brawls veteran Mike "the Wardog" Reid. Mike will be facing a new challenge on Saturday though. He has been a monster in Muay Thai, leaving a path of destrution behind him. This time though, he will be making his long awaited and highly anticipated MMA debut. He will be fighting another Team Quest fighter in Mike "the Pitbull" Hernandez. While the Wardog heads into Saturday with a 0-0 MMA record, the Pitbull will walk in with a 3-1-1 record. This should be a good challenge for Reid, seeing that he has been able to beat many of his previous Muay Thai opponents with relative ease.
