Carlson Gracie Team MMA to compete in Muay Thai Tournament!

Ford Heights, Illinois (IL) --This Saturday night, May 11th, Carlson Gracie Team MMA will participate in a unique Muay Thai tournament to be held at Babes and Brawls 7! This tournament which is a first in the Chicagoland area will feature eight top Muay Thai fighters from the leading Muay Thai academies and schools in the Chicagoland area.  All rounds will be held on the same night and a winner declared by the end.  Carlson Gracie Team MMA member Brian Roberts will be representing the team in what is sure to be a highly contested and interesting night!

Muay Thai Instructor Lukasz Banach commented, 'This tournament will prove who is the best in the area.  We have been trying to get fights with other schools and it has been difficult.  Now no one can have any excuses.  They have to fight.' He also added 'Brian Roberts is very tough.  He will represent us well.'

Unfortunately, Lukasz is going to have to watch this one from the corner.  Both Lukasz and Carlson Gracie Team MMA fighter Danny Morales are nursing injuries and can not fight this Saturday.

In addition to the eight man tournament the night will feature several exhibition bouts.  Brian Mackender and Neil Bhagat who regularly train out of Carlson Gracie Team MMA under Lukasz will also fight in non-tournament Muay Thai matches!

In addition to the wild Muay Thai action in the ring, Babes and Brawls will of course be bringing all the entertainment you can expect to find at one of their over the top raucous events.  Do not miss the chance to get to see the Thai fighters throwing down for the reputation of the top fighter in the area!
