Babes and Brawls Bantamweight Champion!
July 2nd, 2010

Manny 'Lil Macho' Camacho last exited the cage with a split decision after a grueling three round battle that many say he won. This time things would be different. Last Saturday the undefeated Carlson Gracie Team MMA Fighter entered the cage looking for vindication and the first Babes and Brawls Bantamweight Championship Title. He earned both.
In his pre-fight interview Manny described what the championship title meant to him, 'Putting a belt around my waist isn't just putting it around my waist, its putting it around my fans' waists...my coaches' waists... I am worthy enough for the title shot.'
The Carlson Gracie Team MMA Fighter found himself in a battle once again with a very game Jay Herrera. The first round action was fast paced. Both fighters exchanged guillotine submission attempts peppered with quick strikes. Both fighters escaped precarious positions to make it to the end of round one. Right before the action resumed in round two, Jay Herrera motioned to the ref that he was unable to continue. Manny 'Lil Macho' Camacho had accomplished what he set out to do. He earned the belt for Carlson Gracie Team MMA.
Jeff Neal commented on Manny's performance, 'Manny came to us with some experience. We worked on improving his Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals, his striking, and his overall game.' He also added, 'What can I say... It's a great win for Manny. It's a great win for the team. I expect to see him keep getting better and beter each time he steps into the cage.'
What's next for Manny 'Lil Macho' Camacho? Expect to see him making a name for himself in the upcoming C3, IBJJF, and NAGA Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling tournaments as well as defending his new Babes and Brawls Bantamweight Championship Title. Judging by his past performance expect more fast explosive and exciting fighting action!
